Dear Readers,
We are pleased to hold the first International Congress on Political, Economic and Social Studies (ICPESS 2016). The aim of this congress is to bring the researchers of different disciplines together and disseminate the knowledge in an multidisciplinary setting. ICPESS will identify an interdisciplinary topic as a main theme each year. “The shadow economy and voluntary tax compliance” has been this year’s main theme. We will be listening to honorary scholars delivering speeches on the shadow economy and tax compliance and holding special sessions and panels on the main theme.
We would like to thank all the members of ICPESS organising committee and scientific committee for their hard work. Special thanks goes to the Turkish Revenue Administration which puts a lot of effort in fight against shadow economy in Turkey for their sponsorship and support.
